Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.

Issue: On certain vehicles, if the driver uses the automatic sunroof closing feature, then switches the ignition key to "off" or "lock", the sunroof could continue to close. Canadian regulations require the key to be in "on", "start" or "accessory" in order to operate the sunroof. Safety Risk: A sunroof that keeps moving once the vehicle is switched off could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the sunroof operation.

Issue: On certain M2 models, the fuel injectors were installed without a vibration damper. Without this part, vibrations could cause damage to the connection between the fuel line and the fuel rail. This can create the potential for a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak in the engine compartment can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the fuel injectors. The injectors and fuel rail will be replaced, if necessary.
